Student Dress Code
Strict enforcement of our uniform code will be implemented. Please note the requirements below.
Students at West Birdville Elementary are required to wear uniforms each school day. Various types of clothes that are similar to our uniform will not be allowed. If students are sent to school without proper attire the parent will be notified to bring a proper uniform. The only exception to this rule is on Monday and Friday. On Monday, students can choose to wear jeans and a college shirt. On Fridays, students can choose to wear jeans with a West Birdville or Haltom spirit shirt.
Please follow the description below regarding uniforms.
Girls
*Button-down Oxford (white or light blue)
*Polo-style shirts (red, white, light blue, or navy)
*Turtlenecks (red, white, or navy)
*Slacks or no stretch capris (navy or khaki with no extra pockets or zippers)
*Skirt (navy, khaki, or red/blue plaid and must be fingertip length)
*Jumper or pleated walking shorts (navy or khaki and must be fingertip length)
*Sweater or sweatshirt (solid color - red, white, light blue, or navy)
*Socks (white, red, navy, or tan)
*Tights (white, red, or navy)
*Belt (black or brown)
*Shoes (tennis shoes)
Boys
*Button-down Oxford (white or light blue)

*Slacks (navy or khaki with no extra pockets or zippers)
*Walking shorts (navy or khaki with no extra pockets or zippers)
*Sweater or sweatshirt (solid color - red, white, light blue, or navy)

*Shoes (tennis shoes)
**T-shirts are not allowed. Only shirts with a collar can be worn.
